Aaron Rodgers has not yet decided to sign with a new team for the 2025 season after two years with the New York Jets or to go completely away from the game.
He clearly indicated during the weekend that there was at least one team with which he would not sign-the Saints of New Orleans.
The saints might need a quarter of a quarter because the organization weighs if you have to go with Tyler Shough, Spencer Rattle or someone else to start the year while Derek Carr has retired following a serious shoulder injury.

Rodgers was in Texas for a live episode of the “YNK podcast” and a fan asked if he planned to play for the saints.
“No,” replied Rodgers without any hesitation. “This is the answer. I have played there several times, but no, the answer is no. I’m too old. I don’t want to live in Louisiana. Sorry.”
All the signs stressed that Rodgers played with the Pittsburgh steelers, but the pen was not put on paper.

He was also asked during the show if he would plan to play with the Bears in Chicago. In his response, he dropped one of the greatest clues to this day that he was targeting Pittsburgh.
“No, but I think there is a team that could play Chicago this year during a road trip,” he said. “I don’t know, not sure. I have to check it out. I love Chicago, much more than they like. It was an excellent relationship. All the senses.”

The Steelers will play in Chicago on November 23.
