While the world of football was wrapped in the place where Sheder Sanders was going to spend the third day of the NFL 2025 draft, Adam Schefter of ESPN abandoned another news from the quarter who is very important for a certain free MVP agent.
Aaron Rodgers remains without a team for the 2025 season, because he did not make his decision to play.
One of these potential teams was the Vikings of Minnesota, given that JJ McCarthy, the team’s choice in 2024, did not affect the field last season due to an end of season injury. However, the front office was categorical that McCarthy is the man for work before this season, but speculation on a potential rodgers agreement have remained afloat.

Perhaps this officially ended after Schefter revealed during the ESPN broadcast of the recourse that the Vikings had acquired Sam Howell of Seattle Seahawks. Howell later confirmed the job, doing an article in celebration on Instagram.

In exchange for Howell, the Minnesota sent its 142nd choice to the fifth round, which the Seahawks used on the defensive line Rylie Mills. Two choices later, Sanders was finally taken by the Browns of Cleveland.
So where does that let Rodgers for 2025?
Pittsburgh steelers are always the precursor of his services, and their state of project was seemed to show that they always believe that it is good to sign. When Pittsburgh spent a quarter of a quarter in the first round, choosing to go with the defensive platform of Oregon, Derrick Harmon, many were shocked.

Surprise only gained weight when the Steelers continued to select other positions of need for his list other than the quarterrier on the second day. Finally, after taking Sanders, the Steelers selected Will Howard from Ohio State, from Pennsylvania, in the sixth round.
The owner of the Steelers, Art Rooney II, and the head coach Mike Tomlin both showed an interest in attracting the quarter of the MVP Quadruple to direct their attack after his mandate failed with the New York Jets.
“This is certainly a possibility,” Tomlin told NFL Network about Rodgers’ decision soon. “I’m not going to plan the IF and what not only about him, but any other potential free agent. We have had really productive discussions with him, and I liked having productive discussions with him and getting to know him.”
In the end, it seems that the decision is entirely that of Rodgers at this stage. Retirement, just as if his time with Green Bay packers was clearly in place before the 2023 campaign, is still in cards.

But real options are reduced to a single team that could use its services for next season. The Steelers also made things attractive to Rodgers, bringing DK Metcalf in a business with the Seahawks to add to their offensive firepower, which includes George Pickens, Jaylen Warren, Pat Freiermuth and the Kaleb Johnson recruit outside Iowa.
Apart from Howard, the Steelers brought back Mason Rudolph and signed Skylar Thompson to fill his quarter room.
