Add Abdul Carter to the list of NFL recovery prospects which were called during the festivities at the end of last week.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Carter, the third global selection of the New York Giants on Thursday evening, obtained a farce call during the second choice of the draft, that the Jacksonville jaguars exchanged Browns from Cleveland.
The farce said Carter was going to be taken with the second choice.

“It is regrettable that these private numbers come to people who make the farce calls,” said Drew Rosenhaus, Carter’s agent, in ESPN. “Abdul and I knew it was BS and I didn’t even talk about the call to his family.”
Carter did not have to wait too long after the farce, because the giants called his name for real with the following choice. However, he was not the only one to face pranks on the day of the draft.
Several others had to face the false calls, but not more public than Shedeur Sanders.
Several prospects for the NFL draft are victims of pranks unrelated to Shedeur Sanders Prank: Report
The NFL announced on Wednesday that it inflicted a fine of the Falcons of Atlanta $ 250,000 and the defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich at $ 100,000 on the leak of Sanders private telephone number used for day calls.
Ulbrich’s son Jax, 21, was at the center of the Sanders farce call, as the Falcons announced in a press release that he had “involuntarily met the contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders outside an open iPad during the visit of his parents’ house and wrote the number to lead an arrow call”.

Although it was not Jax who called Sanders, one of his friends usurped the identity of the Director General of Holy New Orleans, Mickey Loomis.
Jax then apologized on social networks, saying “what I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing and shameful”.
Besides Sanders and Carter, Tyler Warren from Penn State was stuffed when the New York Jets were on the chronometer in n ° 7 in the general classification, according to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports.
The Associated Press also learned that the quarter-Arrière Kyle McCord, the defensive Mason Graham and the Chase Lundt offensive tackle were all involved in unrelated stuffing.

NFL.com noted how a league memo is sent each year of players’ phone numbers and is marked “confidential”. They are sent to the Managing Director, head coach and director of the players of each team, and that’s it.
The report added that each owner, head coach and managing director must certify in writing that no violation has been made, including “sharing of non-public information”.
