With Computex 2025 now a few days old, we can expect a series of new PC material ads soon – and fortunately, Acer has already started on this subject, with its new SWIFT and aspire laptops ready to hit the market for consumers from June and, in the case of those below, July.
Although there are many new Acer to come, we have in particular some that stand out the most; The Acer Swift X 14, Swift X 14 AI, the Swift Go 16 AI, and the Acer Aspire 16 AI (Intel).
All these new laptops share similar specifications, such as processors that are designed to provide great performance in a certain number of scenarios, including games – especially for IA workloads as a COPILOT + PCS. But here are the four main things you need to know about the new Acer laptops …
1. Acer Swift x 14 ai, swift go 16 ai and the 16 laptops AI of aspire will all have
Again, OLED receives the attention it deserves, and Acer uses OLED panels on a wide range of its new laptops – fortunately, all these laptops picked in cherry are among them.
The Acer Swift X 14 AI will include an OLED 14.5 WQXGA + touch screen (2880 x 1800), which will also benefit from the Vesa DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. It is ideal for precise image quality with deep blacks, with a minimum of 500 brightness.
The Acer Swift Go 16 AI will manage slightly differently, with an OLED WUXGA + (2048 x 1280) display. It uses a low -resolution panel, but to compensate for the difference in graphic capacities (in which I will soon enter).
With the Acer aspire 16 AI, only one of the configurations has an OLED display (2048 x 1200); Unlike the Swift X 14 AI, it will not be a touch screen but its IPS configuration will.
2. All will be powerful game machines, in particular the Swift X 14 AI
I should note that these are not laptops of play, because they are designed for creators using tools like Copilot +. However, processors and GPUs (including IGPUs) are powerful enough to produce great game performance.
The Acer Swift X 14 AI will be the most powerful among the group; NVIDIA RTX 5070 configurations (the laptop GPU, including NVIDIA studio drivers) and the Ryzen AI 9,365 processor will be available, which are both capable of demanding performance to require creative workloads or games. Its non -AI counterpart (Swift X 14) will present itself to the Core Ultra 9 285h processor of Intel.
Although the Swift Go 16 AI and Aspire 16 AI will not include any discreet GPU, they will both be supplied by (according to the configuration) Core Ultra 7 258V of Intel – the same processor and the same IGPU Arc 140V, known for its great play performances.
3. Swift Go AI models are among the most thin and light Acer laptops
Although it wraps a powerful processor, fast Wi-Fi connectivity and an OLED screen, Acer claims that Swift Go (its 14-inch model in particular) is “as light as 15.9 mm and as light as 1.39 kg”. To put it simply, it means that it will be one of the finest and lightest laptops, easy to travel and wrap – even with its 14 -inch screen size.
It is a similar story with the Swift Go 16 AI. Although it is not as thin or light as its counterpart, it weighs only 1.6 kg, which should not be sufficient from a notable jump.
They will also benefit from a “day battery life”, making sure you don’t miss a beat during productive and creative workflows, and will have a battery of 64 Whs which should last 16 hours claimed (probably with light levels or adjusted settings).
4. They will be available from July in August
These new ACER laptops in particular will arrive in July; The Acer Swift X 14 AI (and Swift X 14) will be available in Europe in July, from € 1,799 – prices in North America and Australia must still be announced, but which is converted to around $ 2,015 / £ 1,515 / £ 3 140 at.
Unlike the Swift X 14 AI, the Acer Swift Go 16 AI will be available in Europe in August, from € 1299 – again, prices in North America and Australia have not been announced, but which converts $ 1455 / £ 1,095 / $ 2,270)))))))))
In the same way, the Aspire 16 AI (Intel) will be available in Europe in August, from € 1,099 as the cheapest in the group – there is still no word on prices in North America and Australia, but that is equivalent to around $ 1,230 / £ 925 £ / $ 1 920 at.
It should be noted that the price of each laptop will vary depending on the configuration chosen, which varies in the processors, GPU, RAM, storage and display.
