The ball gets started at CES 2026, which means plenty of new hardware reveals. It’s an exciting time of year for us here at TechRadar, and it looks like Acer hasn’t disappointed, with a range of new products coming soon.
Leading the pack are several new laptops powered by the new 3rd Gen Intel Core Ultra processors, including the Aspire AI, Swift AI, Swift Edge AI, Swift Go AI, and several new gaming laptops from the Predator and Nitro lines. Yes, the word “AI” is also added at the end of the product name for no good reason.
However, I’m only gently chastising Acer for this, as it has become common among several laptop brands in recent years to include “AI” in the name. In my surveys, no one was particularly open about Why they do, but it’s likely a combination of a desire to demonstrate the AI capabilities of these new laptops (thanks to the new Intel Core Ultra 300 chips powering them, which offer superior AI performance compared to the previous 200 generation) and pressure from Microsoft to defend Copilot, its AI assistant now built into Windows 11.
But overall? I have to say, these new laptops look good. The Aspire and Swift models are available in 14- and 16-inch screen sizes, with the super-premium Swift Edge 14 AI weighing less than 1kg and measuring 13.95mm thick, making it one of the thinnest and lightest laptops in its performance class. The new Predator Helios Neo 16S AI is also incredibly thin and light for a gaming laptop, packing an RTX 5070 GPU but with a chassis less than 19mm thick.
New visuals
But the revelations did not stop there. New monitors are coming next: we’ve seen two gaming-focused models under the Predator brand, one curved and one esports-oriented (with a ridiculous “1000Hz dynamic mode” to maximize your framerate), as well as another gaming monitor from the Nitro family, which offers a 27-inch 5K panel. Meanwhile, digital creations were served by the new ProDesigner PE320QX, which offers stunning 6K resolution and support for 1.07 billion colors.
Elsewhere in the exhibition space we saw a new projector, the Vero HL1820. Quick note: did you know that Acer makes home cinema projectors? I did it, but several of my colleagues did not! Part of the Vero eco-friendly product range, it is built with a chassis made from 50% post-consumer recycled materials.
There are also a host of connectivity products, mainly new routers, including the Predator Connect Peripherals have also been included, with the new Predator Cestus 530 gaming mouse and Galea 570 headset.
Ride a scooter
The most unusual reveal, however, was the Predator ES Storm Pro electric scooter. Described as a “performance-oriented electric scooter designed for varied urban conditions,” it features a folding aluminum frame, ten-inch tubeless tires, and, of course, RGB lighting. It’s a Predator-branded product, after all.
This is not the first electric scooter produced by Acer; The ES series has been around for a little while now, so it’s no surprise to see Acer offering a new one at an event like CES. What’s surprising is that this model proudly bears the Predator logo. I don’t know if there’s much crossover between the PC gaming and e-scooter markets, but Acer clearly thinks so.
With IPX5 water resistance and a range of around 60km on a single charge thanks to regenerative braking technology, it certainly looks pretty nice. But I don’t really know much about electric scooters, so that’s about all the analysis I can offer on this particular product reveal!
