April 24, 2015 – Ten years ago today, the day of the Apple Watch launch was launched. He changed the company’s range of products forever, inaugurating a convincing smartwatch for the masses. In the years that followed, he forced the bearers to try to close their rings daily. I am one of them – in fact, I am focused on an Apple Watch for ten consecutive years from my original Apple Watch Sport.
Although you can win a limited edition prize today on your Apple Watch, if you are lucky and manage to go to an Apple store, you can mark a physical piece in history: a pin that celebrates “Global Close all your day of rings”, and which seems very good.
Similar to enamel pins that distribute to developers in person WWDC or those you can buy, then to exchange in Disney parks in the world, it is an important pin decorated with colors and a graphic corresponding to the digital price in limited edition.
Like the activity rings on your Apple Watch to move, exercise and stand, the design of the spindle presents the matching colors: reddish rose, lime and blue green. You will see that you have also crushed your goals, then some. It also has a cup of gold on the edges.
I headed for the Apple Store of large terminal central in New York around noon, but unfortunately, there were no more pins. Apple says that the pins are available in Apple stores during the supplies last, and all you have to do is go up to an employee and ask for one.
While Grand Central was completely out, an employee was kind enough to let me see one of the pins they had obtained earlier in the day. It looks very beautiful, and yes, it is a rarely rare thing of Apple that you can score. My colleague launches Ulanoff managed to get one from the flagship Apple Store on the 5th avenue in New York.
Now, if you can’t go to an Apple store today or if your local spot is already out of the limited edition pins, don’t be afraid. You can, of course, complete the Global Close All Your Rings Day Challenge on your Apple Watch and mark the digital price and some personalized digital goodies. Think of the Imessage stickers that look very delicious.
A quick look back
In 2015, I was at university and I remember looking forward to the delivery of an Apple Watch Sport Silver 42 mm. I was delighted and delighted to have obtained a delivery on the launch day.
I captured the screen each piece of the configuration process and I even took photos and videos on my iPhone 6. I remember using the smart watch around the campus, my first calls, and even calling a Uber from my wrist. It also helped me become a little more active, a trend that Apple Watch always encourages me to do daily.
It is probably the most pleasant and most impactful technology I have used. The evolution towards an elegant, more powerful and even, would I dare to say, useful portable was a unique thing to look at, ahem.
Ten years with the Apple Watch went quickly – I went from an original to the series 3, then from series 4, from series 5, series 6, series 7, series 8, 9, and finally from series 10 and ultra 2.. I also reviewed the SE and the second generation SE, somewhere between the two.
I am still as enthusiastic about the future of portable devices, and I hope they will finally have even more independent features. For the moment, however, Apple Watch is an excellent communication tool with fun applications and powerful follow -up of activities.
For those who wonder, I currently use a 10 and Ultra 2 series as daily drivers.
