- Adobe’s stock is 10 years old
- The company deploys new missions and bonuses for contributors
- The creators will finally have access to the contents of Adobe stocks inside applications like Photoshop
Adobe Stock is about to cross its 10 -year anniversary – and celebrate the milestone, it seems that the company has big surprises in reserve for contributors, creators and users of the platform.
Described in a blog post, the company has examined the retrospective on the extent to which the platform has arrived since its initial launch and its plans for the future.
We had many compliments to give in our recent examination of the actions in Adobe, noting how impressive it was to add media to the site and start making money.
Now, it seems, Adobe is preparing more means for contributors to win with the photo site and improve workflows for site users.
What’s new in Adobe’s stock?
For contributors to Adobe Stock, there are two main features that attracted my attention.
More ways to earn money is the big one because Adobe’s actions are ten years old. The platform already supports individual licenses, the remuneration of bonuses for Firefly’s contributions and the missions – the latter will be quickly expanding. It is an interesting idea, with contributors capable of earning more to provide specific types of content that Adobe needs.
At the same time, the platform will introduce the third payment of Firefly bonus. Indeed, this means that the contributors who have enabled the company to train its Firefly AI on their media in the past year find some additional money in their portal of tomorrow.
Improving integration into Adobe applications is the second notable update. This is something that the company generally excels – you only have to see how tools such as Express and Firefly are now easily available inside Photoshop to see how the implementation is managed.
This means that whoever uses Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, XD, Dimension, Dreamweaver and Express may preview and contain this content. Adobe believes that this will provide “unprecedented visibility and exposure of the content”. The real surprise for me here is how long it takes to do it.
For Adobe Stock creators and users, the main features to be sought are expanding integration, where Adobe is already looking for new ways to use stock content as part of existing workflows.
He also promises new types of content, with Adobe saying that he “quickly widens our offers to include photos, illustrations, videos, vectors, generative AI content, audio, models, 3D active ingredients, GIF.”
The company also suggests that this is only the beginning – although I find it difficult to think of a support that is not already included in this list.
