- Zuckerberg thinks that “the development of superintendent is now in sight”
- He believes that AI glasses will become our dominant personal computer computer system
- The next 10 years will be pivitol to the development of personal superintendent
In a letter that looks like one of the long blog articles from Sam Altman, the meta-PDG Mark Zuckerberg describes its vision of the future where there is a personal superintendent for everyone, and there is not a single reference to the metavers.
Zuckerberg also delivered the letter in the form of a monologue via his Instagram account.
Entitled “Personal Superintelligence”, the article of more than 600 words sees Zuckerberg trying to reach his property on superintendent. “Develop superintelligence,” he said with confidence, “is now in sight.”
In terms that strangely echo exactly what the CEO of Openai recently said, Zuckerberg proclaims: “I am extremely optimistic that superintelligence will help humanity to accelerate our pace of progress. But perhaps even more important is that superintendent has the potential to start a new era of personal empowerment where people will have more agency to improve the world in the directions they choose. ”
Personal superintendent
According to Zuckerberg, all those who have their own accessible superintendent “will help you achieve your goals, create what you want to see in the world, experience an adventure, be a best friend for those who interest you and become the person you aspire to be.”
In a nod to the Ray-Ban and Oakley Meta AI glasses whose company is so proud, Zuckerberg says: “Personal devices like glasses that understand our context because they can see what we see, hear what we hear and interact with us throughout the day will become our main computer devices.”
Personally, I find it a little difficult to accept according to the current evidence. Although I have not yet had the pleasure of using Meta’s AI glasses, I used AI devices like Rabbit R1, which require voice commands to do everything, and it is a slow and clumsy way of using AI in relation to typing an invite or opening application on a screen quickly.
On exactly when we can expect that this new era of personal superintendent comes into play, Zuckerberg always seems to be covered a bit of its bets: “The rest of this decade seems to be the decisive period to determine the path that this technology will take, and if superintelligence will be a tool for personal empowerment or a force focused on the replacement of big society.”
A strength for good or evil
This battle between AI used for good or evil seems to be a theme that has recently been playing on the spirit of the CEO. For example, Sam Altman could not recently seem to decide if he was afraid of the power of Chatgpt 5 or fear.
Although the prediction of the imminent dawn of superintendent seems to be the favorite hobby of technological CEOs at the moment, it seems that technology is being built towards a tilting point where superintelligence becomes a reality. Let’s just hope that the films are wrong about what will happen next.
