- Workers who use AI every day are more likely to feel job satisfaction
- Clear communication around companies’ AI strategies is important
- AI users are slightly more stressed, but this could mean a higher commitment
According to joint research in Jabra and the Research Institute on Happiness, workers who use artificial intelligence every day are 34% more satisfied with their work than their non -user counterparts.
A clear strategy and communication have also been revealed essential, employees who are aware of the strategy of AI of their company 2.5x more hope for the future.
In fact, AI has proven to be so useful in the workplace that workers report better professional life sales, with happy employees 4.5x more likely to be happy in life outside work.
AI in work promises to be a good thing
According to figures, frequent AI users report a stronger achievement, more advanced opportunities and greater optimism as to future enjoyment and development.
However, the pressure to control the tools, rapid crafts and the verification of the AI output is mounted, and frequent AI users report up to 20% more than uncommon users. Slightly high stress like this could mean a higher commitment, but an increase in stress could also put workers at risk of professional exhaustion.
Slow adoption could also hinder the results, with only a third (30%) of workers saying that their business is significantly. This lack of preparation could harm morale and increasing frustration, despite the interest and the will demonstrated by the employees.
However, a major conclusion of the study is that AI is much more than a simple productivity tool. “It is easy to talk about AI in terms of productivity. But we have to start talking about it in terms of psychology,” said the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute, Meik Wiking.
Jabra’s joint report also returns the discussion around AI to replace human workers on its head, proposing rather than those who do not use AI could be less likely to feel satisfied with their work.
