In a daring attempt to compete with Apple’s Mac studio, Beelink, a Chinese company, announced its new mini worksation, nicknamed AI Mini. This compact but powerful device is designed to meet demanding IT requirements.
AI Mini is the second mini PC of Beelink fueled by the Ryzen AI Max + 395 processor of AMD, which combines the Zen 5 CPU architecture with a high performance Radeon 8060S graphics card.
This chip with 16 cores and 32-Thread offers up to 126 peaks of the Calculation capacity of the AI. Its APU architecture merges the CPU and GPU treatment in a unified platform, improving the efficiency for computers for general use and specific tasks for AI.
Huge RAM to manage large data sets
According to Beelink, AI Mini can operate as a local AI server, which makes it ideal for developers performing intensive models like Deepseek R1, without the need for external GPU or infrastructure based on the cloud.
The device supports up to 128 GB of RAM, increasing its attraction as a high -end workstation for professionals who manage large data sets, video rendering or automatic learning workloads.
Beelink confirmed the inclusion of double USB4 ports, each capable of speeds up to 40 Gbit / s, as well as a USB type-C port located on the front panel. In addition, AI Mini supports the Dual 10 Gbps Ethernet ports, providing transparent connections to several devices.
