Federal Minister of Computer Science and Telecommunications, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, said that AI policy approved by the federal cabinet is a revolutionary stage aimed at placing Pakistan among the developed nations of the world.
Sharing Monday the broad outlines of politics in a television message, she stressed that AI brings a major transformation not only in computer science and technology, but in all areas, including health, education, commerce and economics.
She expressed the commitment to ensure that each person in Pakistan harvested the advantages of the AI.
Under politics, she said that a fund will be created to support and promote the innovative ideas of young people and their startups.
She added that politics will empower and prepare young people to market -oriented jobs. Complete policy provides for several projects to ensure that the education of AI reaches each individual.
Shaza Fatima has said that policy is also focusing on data security from citizens and that AI will be used to further improve cybersecurity.
The Minister of Information Technologies said that investments will also be made in AI -related infrastructure. She said Pakistan would seek partnerships with key countries to advance her AI agenda.
Earlier in the month, she met the regional ecosystem of Google AI developers and the team of communities to explore strategic collaboration in the advancement of the landscape of artificial intelligence in Pakistan.
