Air Ambulance Service involved in a Philadelphia plane crash stole once the MLB David Ortiz icon after being shot

A medical transportation jet headed for Missouri and transported a patient child and five other people crashed in the northeast of Philadelphia on Friday evening.

The jet was part of the Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, which provides global ambulance flight services.

It is the same service that has once helped transport the legend of the Boston Red Sox and the MLB Hall of Famer David Ortiz with a critical injury after being shot in its country of origin of the Dominican Republic on June 9, 2019, In a bar by Santo Domingo.

The suspicious shooter was later identified as Rolfi Ferreira-Cruz, but an investigation also noted that Ortiz was not the planned target. The Dominican Attorney General announced on June 19, 2019, Ortiz was mistaken, and Sixo David Fernandez was identified as the planned target of the shooting.

Friday, Jet Rescue said that its Learjet 55 crashed from the northeast airport of Philadelphia around 6.30 p.m.

“Our immediate concern is for the patient’s family, our staff, their families and other victims who may have been injured in the field,” Jet Rescue Air Ambulance said in a statement.

President Donald Trump went to Truth Social to react to the tragedy.

“So sad to see the plane fall to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. More innocent souls lost. Our people are completely committed,” wrote Trump. “The first stakeholders are already granted for doing a great job. More to follow. May God bless you all.”

The accident occurs just a few days after a passenger plane from American Airlines collided with a Black Hawk helicopter from the Army National Reagan Airportkilling 67 people.
