This could be a great year for the iPhone, because as well as the successors of the iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max, we would be able to see something completely new – a super- Client who, for the moment, we call the iPhone 17 air.
This device has been the subject of several rumors, but a new leak gives us our first appropriate overview of what could be the decidedly non -punctual design of the iPhone 17.
The Jon Prosser leak (via Macrumors) shared renderings in its show YouTube Tech Tech Front Page which sometimes show the final design of the iPhone 17 air, and you can see some below.

As the renderings show, the air of the iPhone 17 supposedly has a very thin body, and there is a long black camera bar running the width of its rear panel. Despite being so long, this camera bar is in fact only one lens, with that which protrudes to the left, while the flash is on the far right. Some images also show that, not surprisingly, the phone has both a camera control button and an action button.
Although this is the clearest look we had during the possible iPhone 17 air design, these rendering complies with previous leaks, including a blurred photo that is supposedly showing the air of the iPhone 17 . Thus, these renderings may well be exact, although it should be noted that prosser has mixed history – he was right and badly on Apple in the past.
No change for the basic model
It is not the only piece of design information from the iPhone 17 series that Prosser shared. In an article on X (via Phone Arena), he said that the iPhone 17 of the base is very similar to the iPhone 16 – which means two camera lenses arranged vertically, taking much less space than the alleged bar of the iPhone 17 camera.
If this is the case, the iPhone 17 series could include three very different designs, as these two, Prosser recently revealed the possible design of the iPhone 17 Pro. According to him, this phone has a much larger camera bar than the air model.
We may not discover how precise all this information is for a while, the spirit, because we do not expect an official preview of the iPhone 17 series before September.
