The sixth season of AJ Brown in the NFL was probably its most memorable. The broad all-Pro receiver offered a third consecutive season of 1,000 yards and was a key element in the Eagles race in Philadelphia in a title of the Super Bowl.
Before making the jump to the NFL, Brown finished with just under 3,000 reception yards with the Ole Miss Rebels during her stay as a university football star.
While Brown became one of the best players in his sport, there was a time when he was considering a different path.

Earlier this month, Stephen Moritz from the Padres region remembers Scouting Brown a decade ago and seeing his elite athletics.
“You are never sure,” Moritz told MLB.com. “As scouts, you are more often mistaken that you are not. But I was also certain that I could be [that] He was going to be a good voltiseur. He was going to be great in the outside field. There was too much athletics. There was a natural capacity. You add all his tools together, it was the only thing I was quite confident in. This guy is going to be a good voltiseur in the big leagues. “”
In 2020, Brown detailed how baseball helped him shape him in the football player he is today.
“You catch the ball with your eyes,” Brown told Espn. “Baseball really helped me with this for football. When you follow a ball, especially a deep ball, it helped me a lot. I played at the baseball center. During a deep pass in football, you judge and follow it as a central field field.”
The Tennessee Titans selected Brown in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft and exchanged him at the Eagles during the draft of the NFL 2022.
