Muzaffarabad:
Azad Jammu and Cashmire (AJK) The chief judge Raja Saeed Akram paid a courtesy visit to the Pakistan chief (CJP) Yahya Afridi at the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday.
During the meeting, judge Akram extended his sincere congratulations to the Afridi judge for assuming the highest justice post in the country. He responded to his best wishes for Afridi’s mandate, stressing the importance of strengthening the rule of law and ensuring the effective exemption of justice.
The two dignitaries engaged in a constructive exchange of points of view on questions of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to judicial cooperation and institutional development.
CJ Khan officially invited CJ Afrida to attend the International Judicial Conference of Azad Jammu-et-Cachemire, scheduled for May 10, 2025.
The conference will bring together legal experts, members of the judiciary and academics to discuss the main legal and judicial issues, in particular the uniqueness of the judicial structure of AJK, the evolution of case law in AJK and international laws relating to the dispute of Jammu and cashmere.
