Muzaffarabad:
The Azad Jammu and Cashmire (AJK) government has appointed Dr. Muhammad Muqeem Ul Islam as a new managing director of Cashmire Institute of Management (KIM).
The appointment was made by the Prime Minister of AJK following a rigorous and competitive selection process carried out on the recommendation of the Kim Board of Governors.
The position had remained vacant for 18 months to considerably disrupt the training of civil servants and administrative development in the region.
Dr. Muqeem holds a doctorate in public policy and governance of the National Defense University (NDU), a public policy for economists from the University of Oxford and an MPHil in economic development.
Over the past 25 years, he has held training and management positions in leading institutions such as the National School of Public Policy (NSPP) and the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA).
