Rawalpindi:

Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), the founder, Imran Khan, announced that his brother had given the party a detailed plan for a protest movement nationwide, which should be launched after Muharram 10.

Addressing the media outside of Adiala prison on Tuesday, she said that lawyer Salman Akram Raja had been responsible for transmitting the protest strategy to party leadership. She added that Imran is deliberately isolated to try to “less” the political equation.

“My two sisters received a 15-minute meeting, while lawyer Zaheer Abbas was granted only 90 seconds today. Others like Salman Safdar, Salman Akram Raja and Niazullah Niazi were refused access,” she added.

She said Imran warned against increasing authoritarianism, suggesting that the state derives towards martial law. “If the votes are stolen and their value is refused, if the judiciary is transformed into a department of government and the judges are humiliated, then the rule of law no longer exists,” she quoted Imran.

The founder of the PTI would have expressed that the introduction of the 27th constitutional amendment would formalize only a monarchy. “It would be better to officially declare royalty,” said Aleema, adding that Imran believes that the nation is enslaved, and that life imprisonment is preferable to this “slavery”.

She added that Imran had praised the resistance shown in the Punjab assembly, in particular the role of the opposition chief. “Currently, 26 PTI legislators are under restrictions. It would be preferable that they have set up a parallel assembly outside the parliament,” she added, quoting her brother.

Aleema also alleged that Imran was detained in isolation and did not receive his legal or constitutional rights in prison. She concluded by urging the nation to get up against what she called an unjust system after Ashura.

“Legal avenues still exist”: Baisal Chaudhry

Meanwhile, lawyer Faisal Chaudhry expressed optimism about the potential release of the founder of the PTI, declaring that “many legal paths still exist” and that “his release is now at sight”.

Addressing the media of the Dahgal control point – where he was denied access to meet Imran in Adiala – Charthry prison urged the nation not to lose hope despite the atmosphere of dominant despair.

He underlined the need for a well -defined strategy to guarantee the release of the PTI leader, adding: “We must not panic. Solid legal steps and a coordinated action plan are necessary at this stage. ”

He noted that the list of people authorized to meet Imran remains static and that more people should have the opportunity.

Stressing its political position, Chaudhry said: “I believe that resistance and reconciliation should go hand in hand. You should never abandon the way to dialogue, and the resistance option should not be rejected. ” He said that his decisions are based on timing and conditions, adding: “The man who really takes care of the public is behind bars.”
