The Indiana Pacers were the definition of blood, sweat and tears throughout their post-season race.

They went to match 7 of the NBA final thanks to incredible feedback and unforgettable moments.

Tyrese Haliburton had a few, both positive and negative. He had two shots that change in series in the playoffs, but playing with a balloon in match 7 Sunday, he torn his Achilles in the first quarter.

While the best man of the Pacers fell, Indiana was not imperturbable for a while. Directing at halftime, it certainly seemed to have an additional motivation.

The Thunder of Oklahoma City withdrew late to win his first title since they were the Supersonics of Seattle in 1979, but they certainly did not take the Pacers – nor their more boost – lightly.

“Honestly, there was not too much time to think about it. We were fighting, our season was at stake. I think we just tried to focus on what it would look like without him,” said Alex Caruso in a recent interview with PK Press Club Digital. “We knew that they had guys who were very capable, and clearly they did it. They gave us a race for our money until the end. We knew that they were not going to abandon.”

The Thunder, with the MVP Shai Gilgeous-Aalexander and a season of 68 victories, was heavy favorites to win the series, but the “Sunday Scaries” were fully.

“Just the way the series took place, it was a bit unpredictable. But how their qualifying series had gone, they exploded the teams they were not supposed to beat, they had crazy feedback in the matches they were not supposed to win. I don’t think we underestimated them”, Caruso continued.

Caruso was in a cane to raise local to help work a quarter of work, 24 hours after their title parade.

“Back to work. The version does not stop,” he said. “It’s great. Before I even introduced myself, there were a line of hundreds of people sitting there waiting in anticipation. Love is felt, and it was very fun.”

And yes, the Thunder celebrated a lot, despite viral videos on the social networks of them reacting in a nonchalantly.

“There are a few mouths of wood and a lot of waters after the parade,” he admitted.
