Alex Cooper doesn’t hold back when it comes to his love for Taylor Swift.
According to a new report from PEOPLE MagazineTHE Call her daddy the host opened up about her deep-rooted devotion to Swiftie during the November 7 episode of Owen Thiele’s podcast In your dreamseven joking that Taylor Swift was his “awakening to women.”
During that conversation, Cooper, 31, couldn’t help but point out a poster of Swift’s Fearless album hanging behind Thiele in the studio.
Once she spotted it, nostalgia immediately hit her and she said, “I can’t stop looking at the Fearless album in the back of your head.”
She continued: “These songs changed my life. Like, Fearless was my time growing up where I really started to like boys…”
“Did you like girls before? Thiele teased.
“We’re getting there,” Cooper joked, before revealing how deeply she latched onto Swift’s music during her teenage years.
“I really found out that I was such a loser and [Swift] was my connector like, “He doesn’t love me.” But I almost romanticized the guys who hated me at one point – like I thought it was cool that they turned me down because then I had Taylor to listen to.
“You were in love with Taylor,” Thiele laughed.
“Yeah, she was my fucking awakening to women,” Cooper joked.
“Sorry, Taylor, that’s weird.”
Cooper’s enthusiasm for Swift isn’t new as previously in an interview with PEOPLEshe named Swift as one of her top dream podcast guests.
“Oh my God, I would say two people – either Ms. Taylor Swift or Rihanna. Period,” she shared at the time.
“I feel like these two women have built such incredible empires and I respect them both so much, and I would be honored to sit down with either one.”
