Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur held an unusual meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan at Adiala jail, sparking significant political attention.

The meeting, which lasted an hour, reportedly focused on the state of affairs in the province, party affairs and political issues, Express News reported.

Sources revealed that the CM arrived at Adiala jail with full official protocol and was given direct access through Gate No 5, bypassing standard procedures. For the meeting, Khan was moved from his prison cell to a conference room.

According to sources, the two leaders engaged in a detailed discussion on various issues, including development projects and security situation in KP.

Another key topic discussed was the upcoming rally scheduled for February 8 in Peshawar. During the meeting, the PTI founder issued several directives to the chief minister regarding the preparations for the event and related strategies.

After the hour-long meeting in the conference room, CM Gandapur left for Islamabad without speaking to the media. The meeting has increased speculation about its implications for KP’s political landscape and the broader national context.
