Alison Hammond has been criticized for using a “stupid” comment about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest on live air.

However, the discussion took a serious turn when they discussed his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
For those who don’t know, the former royal was arrested on his 66th birthday.
Speaking about the explosive news, Alison, 51, shared her two thoughts on Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest on her birthday.
She told her co-stars: “They could have done it yesterday, the day before his birthday.”
Alison continued: “It’s evolving, we don’t know much beyond what you just said. All we know is that the police can tell you.
However, his comment didn’t sit well with viewers, who hit back and called it “weird.”
One wrote: “Alison said ‘surely they didn’t need to arrest him on his birthday.’ What a strange comment about an “alleged” predator.
Another commented: “Imagine if Alison was a police officer. Her boss: “We’re arresting Prince Andrew tomorrow morning” Alison: “We can’t do that baby, it’s his birthday tomorrow, he’s probably made plans.”
This comes after Alison Hammond recently opened up about her weight loss journey and fitness journey.
