Rawalpindi:
The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, expressed solid reservations on the political committee of four members recently formed for the Punjab, and ordered the party leaders to reissue the notification, naming the MNA Aliya Hamza as chief of the panel.
Imran transmitted his instructions through Senator Ali Zafar to party leadership. The committee originally included Salman Akram Raja, Omar Ayub, Ahmed Khan Bashar and Usman Akram. However, the management’s initial decision to form the Committee without Aliya at the helm caused the founder of the PTI.
Imran asked Senator Zafar to ensure that Aliya is appointed head of the Committee and that the member of the Senior Party Shamim Naqvi is informed of the decision.
During an informal conversation with journalists from Adiala prison, Senator Ali Zafar, as well as lawyer Faisal Chaudhry, as well as Aliya’s legal advisor, confirmed development.
