Allison Holker revealed that her late husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, struggled with drug addiction before committing suicide in December 2022.
In a frank conversation with People magazine, the 36-year-old dancer shared that she discovered her husband suffered from pain demons when she discovered a hidden “cornucopia” of drugs, including mushrooms, pills and other substances, in Stephen’s closet.
“I was with a dear friend of mine, and we were cleaning out the closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral,” Allison remembers.
“It was a really triggering moment for me,” Stephen’s widow admitted. “It was alarming to learn that there was so much going on that I didn’t know about.”
“It was a really scary time in my life to understand that, but it also helped me understand that he was going through so much and hiding so much, and there must have been a lot of shame there- in there,” Allison added. .
For those who don’t know, Stephen committed suicide on December 13, 2022. He was found unconscious in a motel room in Los Angeles.
