Amanda Seyfried is full of praise for her The cleaning lady co-star Sydney Sweeney.
In a recent conversation with PEOPLE MagazineSeyfried shared that she and Sweeney developed a close friendship while working together, even staying in touch through a text chain.
“I think she’s beautiful and fun,” Seyfried said.
“And we really love what we do, and we love the project so much, so it’s infectious. We saw the movie and we both loved it.”
THE Mama Mia! The star added that the two recently reunited to promote the film.
“We were together last week because we’re doing a lot of promotion for the movie The Housemaid,” she said.
“It’s really crazy timing.”
Seyfried also pointed out that their individual independent films premiere within hours of each other.
“Our independent films come out on the same day, within a few hours of each other,” she explained.
In Seyfried’s other film, Ann Lee’s willshe played Shaker founder Ann Lee, described as “one of the most important religious figures in pre-Revolutionary America.”
The film explores “the profound traumas of childhood and early adulthood that impacted his psychology and shaped his influential religious views.”
