You never know what you might see on a baseball field.
The third goal of Duluth Huskies, Ethan Surowiec, aligned a ground ball, as Baserunner, during the 5-4 victory of the team over the Loggers butt Tuesday at the Duluth Wade Stadium, Minnesota.
The bases were loaded at the bottom of the English Channel with an outlet, and the Huskies were up to par. Surowiec was the runner of the second goal when a ball on the ground was struck at the logs at the Mikey Ryan III stop stop.

After the ball was touched, Surowiec took a few steps to its right and itself aligned the ball, like a short stop, instead of letting it pass to the real stop stop, Ryan, to avoid a potential double game.
“Oh my God, I have never seen this on a baseball field,” said the advertiser.
“Ethan Surowiec picked up baseball (and) deliberately abandoned.”
The referees judged the play of a “choice of championship 6”, which allowed the bases to remain loaded. The runner of the third base remained, while the runner of the first base progressed towards the second goal, and the striker went to the first goal.
The rapid thought of Surowiec gave the Huskies a chance to capitalize, because the abandonment allowed the Channel to continue.

However, according to Baseball Rules Academy, the referees were wrong. Rule 6.01 (A) (6) stipulates that Surowiec and the striker should have been excluded.
“If, in the referee’s judgment, a Baserunner interferes voluntarily and deliberately with a shot ball or a defensive player in the process of making a ball struck with the obvious intention of breaking a double game, the ball is dead. The rule indicates, Accordiong at the Academy of baseball rules.
If the referees had applied the rule according to what the Baseball Rules Academy said, Surowiec and the striker would have been called to end the Channel.

The apparently ingenious game of Surowiec would have led to the same result he was trying to prevent: a double game game. His deliberate game to interfere with baseball was found as a questionable point, as a sliced striker Paul Gutierrez againstras, then struck a flight on the right field and blocked the three runners.
The Huskies improved at 3-1 with the victory, and they seated at the top of the East Great Plans division in the Northwoods League, while the loggers fell to 2-2 with the defeat.
