- A new history skill at bedtime has been presented for Alexa d’Amazon
- Trelles and scratches is a story supported by science designed to help children derive
- It can be saved with a complete Alexa routine, including the smart lights of the Gradation
Amazon has announced new powers for Alexa to help parents in the night routine to make their children sleep. It comes in the form of a story to bedtime that has been specifically adapted – and is “supported by science” – to work effectively for this purpose.
The story has been written by the television presenter Vogue Williams, who also tells the story, and scientific advice is graciousness of a sleep expert at Durham University, Professor Helen Ball.
Trelles and scratches is a story on a mother taking her two young tigers through their routine to bedtime (apparently inspired by the son of Vogue, who is very interesting animals).
Professor Ball (Durham Benfancy & Sleep Center at the University of Durham) advised the rhythm of history and the use of soothing themes. It also contains elements such as repeated sentences and a gradual reduction in the volume level over the story, in order to help generate a sleep sensation.
In addition, a key point here is the objective of the story itself being a routine at the bedtime that children will identify quickly, because that is what they go through themselves.
Parents will not only be able to use their intelligent speaker to help make their child sleep with this story of the tiger, but Amazon also notes that there is a complete Alexa routine which has been introduced.
This saves the story of Vogue, the following with brown noise and fat of the lights, which added to the effect of helping the child to drift (assuming that you have smart lights connected to Alexa, well sure, in the latter case).
Those with Alexa can activate this routine at bedtime while heading here, or to tell the story of Trelles and scratchesJust ask: “Alexa, help my child to fall asleep”.
A little scary or just cute?
To watch
Is it somehow a little scary to make Alexa sleep to put your child to sleep? I can see why some people might think, and see that bedtime stories are better given to the personal touch – and that the writing of digital aid will not be as effective as your own softening of the voice, And embellishments to history (perhaps).
But of course, you don’t have to use Alexa for bedtime tasks, it is only another option open to users. And in all honesty, it looks like a properly cute story, and a good way to have a story to sleep to your children in this way – rather than using a simple audio book (like many parents already do it) without None of the customs mentioned implemented implemented by Professor Ball.
Not everyone has time to integrate into a complete routine at bedtime every day, after all, and as part of the background of the creation of this story, Amazon has undertaken an investigation with the British adults. He found that 25% of respondents “had trouble putting their children in bed regularly” and that 12% reported “constant difficulties” in this regard. All this can add to the stress of an overly busy life, of course.
