Punjab chief minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that the housing plans that have been built should be regularized as soon as possible in accordance with the law.
President of a meeting to discuss proposals on the regularization of illegal housing companies in the province, she said that government services were also responsible for the creation of these regimes, but citizens who bought ownership were punished. She added: “Why did the institutions concerned closed their eyes when illegal housing companies were under construction. The money is taken to the poor, but the plots are not given.”
The chief minister ordered the authorities concerned to abolish the requirement of unnecessary non-objection certificates (NOC) for the registration of housing companies.
She agreed to form a high -level committee for the regularization of illegal housing plans.
It also ordered the authorities to take measures to digitize the housing sector for the first time in the province. “A management system for the housing company must be introduced. The approval, management and transfer of the housing company will be made possible online. NOC fees will also be paid online after downloading the required documents,” she added.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the development and management of programs would also be provided through the management system.
She considered various options to design methods infiltrated for the development and management of housing companies. She noted: “According to the rules and regulations, housing regimes should be taken into account once for amnesty.”
