If you look forward to news from the moment when the iPhone 17 series could be launched, a reliable leak has just listed what they say the most likely dates for the new Apple phones to make their debut – and although nothing civil servant has yet been announced, the suggested dates are very meaningful.
In his latest power on the newsletter ($ / £), Bloomberg’s journalist Mark Gurman noted that Apple generally launches new iphones in the week following the Labor Day – and since the fall of the Labor Day on September 1 of this year, that makes the week from September 8 the most likely candidate.
Developing this idea further, Gurman noted that Apple never plans to Fridays, and has also generally avoided autumn emissions on September 11. It leaves on Monday September 8, Tuesday September 9 and Wednesday September 10 as options.
Over the past decade, Apple has organized five events in September one Tuesday and four on Wednesday, making strong possibilities of September 9 and September 10 for the iPhone event. Apple organized an event on Monday in 2024, but it is an aberrant value in its recent history.
What will we see during the event?
The iPhone 17 should pay a major visual overhaul on the back, with a horizontal camera bar housing the lenses and sensors of the device, which is seeing several major sources and leaks. We could also see new changes to the dynamic island, a faster Magsafe load and a new family of A19 fleas.
There are also indications that Apple will add a new device to the iPhone range, nicknamed the air of the iPhone 17. It would be the thinnest iPhone in the range, and would suil the iPhone 16 Plus.
Aside from the iPhone, we should also see Apple Watch’s list updates, with the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch SE 3, all presented to appear.
With only a few months until the Apple event should start, it may be time to mark the week of September 8 in your calendar. We will surely know the date when Apple sends invitations for the show, but for the moment, it is the closest that we have reached a solid release date.
