It’s been more than two decades that an American tennis player won a big slam, but Andre Agassi thinks that drought could end soon.
Agassi and Andy Roddick both won a big slam in 2003, but the United States has come empty-handed since.
Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have since resumed sport, rewriting history books in the process. Pete Sampras won the 14 of his great chelems before these three even won their first.
Since then, all they have done was Blow by Sampras. Federer A 20, Nadal 22 and Djokovic 24.

“It’s interesting. We have been spoiled over the past years. [John] MCENROE, [Jimmy] Conners, Andy Roddick. But the truth is that there have been three guys who have been damn grainy for a long time in Rafa, Novak, and Feds, “said Agassi in a recent interview with PK Press Club Digital.
Agassi made sure to mention that the United States has its share of stars. Taylor Fritz is classified fourth; Tommy Paul and Ben Shelton are classified respectively 12th and 13th; Frances Tiafoe is 16th; And Sebastian Korda is 23rd.
And Agassi thinks that the shorts filled with American players could feed the other Americans to finally overcome the bump.

“One thing I can say from experience is that I needed Pete, and I needed Jim [Courier]. It is nothing more than the domination of non-Americans since 2003, and the sinner and Alcaraz have won each of the last five fireplaces, but Agassi thinks that a change will soon come.
