Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been dealt another blow as his deep ties to Jeffrey Epstein continue to unravel.
According to a new report published by The Sun on December 27, the former prince was mentioned in allegations regarding alleged recordings hidden at one of Epstein’s properties.
The report states that the FBI received the information in 2020 from an IP address attributed to Norway. The post alleged that tapes were hidden in a secret compartment at Epstein’s home in the Bahamas, although it remains unclear whether the recordings exist or what they might contain. There is also no confirmation that the FBI acted on this information.
The memo, reportedly titled “Official Federal Bureau of Investigation File,” includes the following claim: “Pedophilia arranged by JE for Prince Andrew.
“For proof: look for the keys kept in the living room. There are cassette tapes in a secret compartment of a drawer next to a photo by Michelangelo of a flower vase in his house in the Bahamas.”
The Sun further indicated that the informant alleged that the crimes had been going on for 15 years. However, no evidence has been provided to support these claims and authorities have not confirmed their authenticity.
Andrew, 65, has always denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell. He has remained largely out of the public eye in recent months as new Epstein files continue to be released, including previously leaked emails allegedly exchanged with Epstein and Maxwell.
The former prince was stripped of his royal titles earlier this year by his brother King Charles III, amid continuing fallout from the scandal.
