Andrew’s daughters share wish to join royal family’s Christmas gathering

Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters finally reveal where they stand with the royal family

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have finally given insight into their position within the royal family as their parents’ scandals continue to cast a shadow.

Although Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson are estranged from official royal life due to their ties to Jeffrey Epstein, their daughters remain firmly in King Charles’ good books. The sisters were even invited to Princess Kate’s annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey – although neither attended.

Instead, they sent their support from far and wide. Even though Béatrice is not on Instagram, Eugénie took the lead by reposting the Kensington Palace invitation card in her Stories.

“I wish Bea and I could celebrate tonight with our family,” she wrote. She did not explain the reason for their absence, but it is likely that the sisters chose to stay away to avoid having their parents’ controversy overshadow the event.

Eugenie added a warm message for the Princess of Wales, writing: “Wishing @princessofwales such a special evening at her incredible Christmas carol service. What an incredible message of love and hope.”

This is the first time the York sisters have shared a direct public message to a member of the royal family since their father – and by extension their mother – lost all his titles, including Prince and Duke of York, among others.
