- Gemini could come on Android Auto with access to the precise location
- The update would make Gemini more useful on the road
- Changes in the appearance of colors on Android Auto were also identified
We know that Gemini goes to Android Auto in the near future, and when the deployment finally starts, it would seem that the AI assistant will bring a useful upgrade with it: access to the precise location of your vehicle.
This tweak was spotted by the 9TO5google team, hidden in the code of the latest beta version of the Android Auto application, V15.1. It seems that users can choose whether or not to share the details of the exact location in the Android Auto settings.
The obvious advantages of giving gemini full access to your location are of course developing from A to B, and discovering nearby places – if you have to stop for gas, for example, or if you want to find the best coffee in a region.
You can use Google Maps on Android Auto for these Gemini without tasks, but if you need voice control and maybe a little additional AI assistance, then Gemini will be the most useful if they know exactly where you are at any time.
Color change
Gemini replaces Google Assistant on all Google applications and devices, and on the basis of certain advice abandoned by Google managers during the Pixel 10 launch event, the Bot AI should reach Android Auto before the end of the year.
We have already seen an overview of the appearance of Gemini on vehicle dashboards, and to a large extent, the Gemini AI will work exactly the same as on your phone, only on a larger screen.
Meanwhile, the people of Android Authority have spotted something else in the latest Android automobile code: a less dynamic color palette that is not as saturated, with a primary color taken from the selected wallpaper.
It is possible that we obtain the update of Gemini and the color theme options revised at the same time, but we will have to wait to see exactly how they integrate with the current interface – and as soon as Google officially starts the deployment, we will let you know.
