Chiefs of Kansas City Head coach Andy Reid remained perplexed by the decision not to expel the defensive platform of Los Angeles Chargers Tart Tart from Friday evening match after hitting Travis Kelce at the head.

According to the NFL rules book, an open hand strike is illegal but does not require compulsory disqualification. A closed punch would require automatic disqualification.

Reid was asked if he had been clarity of the league concerning the decision.

“Yeah, I’m going to solve this problem with the League.”
