Chicago Sky star Angel Reese won his consecutive ninth double-double-double against the Lynx of Minnesota despite an insane effort in the second quarter with the eight-point team that has become viral.
The play in question came with about a minute in the first half. Reese threw the ball into the field, but there was no one to receive it. Instead, Lynx Courtney Williams goalkeeper stole him from Bridget Carleton for the 3 points.

Reese had five of the 18 team reversals. Chicago granted 47 points in the second half and lost the match, 91-78. The lynx went to 19-4 over the year and the sky fell to 7-14.
The second year player still managed to score 22 points to lead the team and take 10 rebounds. The last match that she failed to record a double-double was all the way on June 21 against the Phoenix Mercury when she had nine points and two rebounds.

Since then, Reese has been on a statistical tear. It has an average of 13.6 points, 12.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game this season.
Reese is about to enter the second star match in his career next weekend in Indianapolis.

For the Lynx, the candidate of the MVP of the perennial WNBA Napheesa Collier led all the scorers with 29 points with five assists and three interceptions. Williams collected 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
