Angel Reese has had an undeniable impact on women’s basketball.
But the Chicago Sky striker’s influence extends from the pitch to the podiums. Reese was tapped by Victoria’s Secret to participate in the clothing and beauty retailer’s fashion show in New York, where she will become the first athlete to walk the catwalk in the event’s history.
After attending last year’s show as a guest, Reese said she will now be one of the brand’s global ambassadors.

“I literally couldn’t stop smiling.” Reese told People. “It’s such a surreal, full-circle moment – last year I was in the audience making my presence felt on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking the runway, and now I get to return as an angel. It will be an unforgettable evening that I will always be grateful for.”

Reese added that she wants to encourage women to succeed in all fields.
“I hope I can inspire women and girls around the world and remind them that we can dominate in our field, but also pursue our goals outside of it – and for me, that means walking the most iconic runway in fashion and entertainment,” added the two-time WNBA All-Star.

Since his rise to basketball stardom, Reese has also built his brand off the court.
She hosts her podcast “Unapologetically Angel” and has partnered with Reebok and other top brands. Last August, she revealed her collaboration with Reese’s, which launched the “Angel Reese x Reese’s Pieces Logo Collection.”

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned last year after a six-year hiatus.
The 2025 show is scheduled for October 15 and will stream live on Prime Video.
“I’ve been training for basketball and the fashion show the last few weeks,” Reese explained. “And I’m ready to trade in my Angel Reese 1s for heels Wednesday night!”
