The LPGA tour is filled with incredible golfers like Nelly Korda, Rose Zhang, Lydia Ko and Jeeno Thitikul to name just a few.
The average golf fan may not be too aware of these names. Instead, they could be more likely to follow influencers like Paige Spiranac, Grace Charis and Tisha Alyn.

While Spiranac is perhaps the most popular with more than 4 million followers on Instagram and 1.6 million followers on Tiktok, Charis and Alyn have also built their own strong suite with millions of fans on social networks.
Annika Sorenstam may be the best known golfer of this generation. She won 72 times during the LPGA tour and had 10 major titles. As Spiranac and other golf influencers have adopted a different approach to game growth, the Legend of Swedish golf course was all for that.

The legend of Golf Annika Sorenstam talks about charitable efforts before the celebrity tournament of the American century
“I think it’s great. I just want more people to play, enjoy it, have a good time and feel it, that it comes from traditional golfers, you know, the way we watch it on television or read this in magazines or other,” Sorenstam told PK Press Club Digital.
“Nowadays, the information is shared differently, people get information in different places, so I think it’s great. They bring a different view or perspective in sport. Whether it’s fashionable or strokes, I mean they all have a little niche.”
Sorenstam should participate in the American Century championship at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Club next month.
