Lahore:
Punjab Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved the annual development program of 12 districts in the province.
She chaired a meeting attended by all the division and assistant commissioners of the province in which the annual development programs of the district were examined as well as embellishment initiatives and anti-training operations.
The development programs of the remaining districts will be examined on Tuesday.
The chief minister said on this occasion: “eliminating encroachments and maintaining the standard of cleanliness is a great challenge. Commissioners and CDs have had the total freedom to perform their functions. No one is authorized to influence their decisions. Members of the Assembly also appreciate the improvement of all social and other sectors in their districts.”
She added: “A complete repression against corruption must be made in order to constantly eliminate it. It was decided to ensure a lasting building of the roads, markets and bazaars of all the Tehsils of the province.”
She ordered managers to build model-ruffing supports in each city.
It also ordered them to guarantee the payment of land acquisition owners at the market rate and to monitor video surveillance from government lands recovered after the elimination of encroachments.
The chief minister ordered the creation of sports areas and urban forests on government lands recovered and available in the cities of Punjab.
She ordered administration agents to lead daily visits to ensure the elimination of encroachments as well as inspection of road marking on roads to prevent temporary encroachments.
She ordered the withdrawal of the electric posts from the roads and the construction of tuf tile trails along the newly built roads.
The chief minister ordered the transfer of cereal markets, fruits and vegetables outside cities as well as their uniform building. She ordered officials to install planters and themed lighting on air bridges.
