Islamabad: A second flight transporting illegal Pakistani immigrants is expected to arrive in Pakistan next week, sources from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have revealed, which had the impact of strict immigration policies by President United Donald Trump.
The Pakistani Embassy in the United States has confirmed that eight other undocumented people – including Rehman, Saleem, Nawaz, Salman, Azeem, Khan and Khalid Masih – will return to the fatherland aboard a special American plane.
In particular, only two of the deportees have a criminal record, while the other six are expelled only for violations of illegal residence.
“Two people on the expulsion list were found guilty of serious crimes, including rape and drug -related offenses,” the sources added.
The deportees will be transported by plane to the Nur Khan air base, Islamabad, FIA officials and security personnel guaranteeing a process of receiving and fluid verification on arrival.
In addition, the authorities have confirmed the recent deportation of Syed Rizvi, 56, a Pakistani national who was illegally living in Dallas, Texas. He entered the United States in 2017, but he was tried to violate immigration laws.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested him on January 31 and was officially expelled in Pakistan on February 25. After his expulsion, the FBI shared his photograph and details with the Pakistani authorities for the holding of records.
An FIA official said: “We closely monitor all deportees to distinguish people involved in criminal activities and those expelled only due to residence violations.”
Upon their arrival, the deportees will be projected for any legal affairs in the process of instance in Pakistan, interviewed concerning their reasons for suspended and expulsion and helped in their reintegration process if they were deemed innocent of criminal activities.
