A student, Malaika, injured by criticism during a recent school bus attack in Khuzdar, died of her injuries, security officials announced on Friday, bringing the number of eight people, including six schoolchildren, in what the authorities describe as a terrorist incident supported by India.
The deceased includes five students and a male student, confirmed security sources, adding that the blood of these innocent children will be avenged and that the instigators supported by India would be held responsible.
The suicide attack targeting a school bus in Khuzdar was carried out on Wednesday morning this week.
The alleged bomber struck a vehicle loaded with explosives on the school bus while he was passing by Zero Point near the Rakhshan hotel, deputy commissioner Yashbal Dashti said, adding that the bus transported students from the public school of the army located in the Khuzdar canonical.
The vehicle was rigged with more than 30 kilograms of explosives, according to the bombs elimination team.
The military’s media wing, public relations interinstitutions (ISPR), had confirmed that a loose and horrible attack was planned and orchestrated by the terrorist state of India and executed by its proxies in Balutchistan.
The attack sparked a wave of condemnation and condolences from the country’s main civilian and military leaders.
