The chief of staff of the army (COAS), General Asim Munnir, chaired the 267th Conference of Corps Commanders (CCC) at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, where the main national security problems were discussed.

The forum has expressed serious concerns about continuous use of Afghan soil by militant groups for terrorism against Pakistan, urging the Afghan temporary government to take concrete measures against these groups.
According to a statement published by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the conference began with a solemn tribute to the sacrifices carried out by the armed forces of Pakistan, law enforcement organizations and citizens in the pursuit of peace and stability.
The forum carried out an in -depth examination of regional and internal security problems, responding to a wide range of threats.
The situation along the control line (LOC) and the work border was a focal discussion point, the forum strongly condemning human rights violations in progress in the Jammu and the cashmere occupied by illegally (iiojk) .

General Munnir congratulated the operational preparation of all training, stressing the importance of continuing education focused on the mission, military cooperation and joint exercises, in particular in the efforts to combat terrorism.
