- Aokzoe mini PC displays a red rocket button without clear functional explanation
- The brand submerges the chassis, with fashionable words replacing the technical or useful design explanations
- The processor has real muscles, but the management of the product is uncertain and blurred
Aokzoe has announced that its first mini PC powered by the new Ryzen AI Max + 395 APU of AMD will soon be launched worldwide.
The company remained vague on the main technical details, but the announcement aroused attention for its daring design and ambiguous brand.
The mini PC was previewed with terms like “AI PC”, “an IPC” and “Hypermind Drive” sporting its surfaces, leaving its final name uncertain.
Design choices raise questions about the objective and the practical aspect
This device is visually striking with a design that displays aggressive angles, shiny reflections and an unexplained red “rocket” button, which looks like a personalized or programmable function button, perhaps for performance mode.
Mini PCs often lean towards discreet forms, but Aokzoe has adopted the opposite approach.
The brand image is everywhere, with a large text and graphics dominating the chassis, which raises doubts as to whether this machine is designed as a functional commercial PC or a flashy collector.
Speculation has intensified due to the inclusion of the Ryzen Ai Max + 395, a Halo Strix Halo de range.
This processor is part of the AMD thrust in IT improved by AI and has only recently started to appear in compact office computers.
Although it has an attraction for demanding tasks such as content creation, the lack of detailed specifications of Aokzoe makes it difficult to measure if this mini PC can be used in a realistic way in video edition capable or manage typical long work sessions in commercial environments.
At this stage, the potential of the material seems to exceed the clarity of the product.
Nevertheless, from official images, the front panel of this device includes a USB4 or Thunderbolt port marked with an Éclair bolt icon just before the “rocket” red button.
Then comes a full-size SD card reader, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports (probably different speed) and a 3.5 mm audio plug for headphones or the use of microphones.
The company will officially confirm the specifications of this intermittent device via social media, avoiding formal release deadlines or performance references.
Although a world version has been promised, potential buyers have a little more than vague renderings and labels to assess.
For the moment, it is difficult to say if the product is serious in terms of calculation or simply to play with daring visuals and fashionable words.
Although Aokzoe’s approach is not unique, other brands such as GMKTEC and Aoostar also introduce Stix Halo -based systems.
The tastes of HP Z2 Mini G1A, GMKTEC Evo-X2, Nex395 of Aoostar, and many others have already been announced.
But these devices are generally not cheap, often selling between the price range of $ 1,500 and $ 2000.
