AOL and Yahoo Mail seem to be broken for American users – get live updates

Refresh

A scathing comment on AOL by a Stephen Jackson on Downdetector: “AOL too busy bombing us with their non-stop spam, instead of focusing on the guarantee of their email.”

It certainly does not seem that the messaging problem is resolved, but sporadic service returns can be an indicator that Ool tries the fixes.

Hmmm, I see whispers that AOL email could slowly come back with the user of Downdector Melissaw noting “It seems that it works, but will not delete email and will not let you look in the files. Give an error message.”

The AOL’s main website, including its research and information functions, works well, so it seems to be a breakdown exclusively linked to messaging services.

I am a Microsoft and Gmail electronic email user, so I tend to have backups for certain important authentication services. But it is not an idiotic method, especially if you cannot use a backup or secondary e-mail.

If I couldn’t get a bank code due to an email failure, I would rather be upset … I am not the most patient of people.

Get completely it could also be a big problem for Yahoo email users:

But curiously, it seems that AOL E-mail works on iPhone for some users.

AOL is just as silent …

No suspicion of when a fix will be made for Yahoo. And I feel the frustration of this user X …

This is naturally a similar situation for Yahoo on DowndeTector, as you can see below …

So, if you look at this image, you can see that it is not a good look for AOL’s email in DowndeTector, but maybe the number of landing reports has peaked …

I am sort of sorry for small businesses when these forms of email breakdowns occur because they are probably lacking in backup resources and systems to attenuate such breakdowns.

Interestingly, the registration page for AOL E-mail always seems active …

I do not see any breakdown for cloud platform suppliers who could affect messaging service servers and support infrastructure, so I am a little limited to the amount I can speculate on the cause of this messaging failure.

Still nothing new from Yahoo or AOL for the duration of this failure or what caused it.

With so many customers and services by e-mail, one might think that aol / yahoo failure could be a bit underlying, but like a DowndeTector Note poster: “Rip. I cannot recover the MFA codes.”

So, if you use such email service to manage multi-faster authentication, you might be a little stuck.

So why are AOL and Yahoo both a breakdown? Well, they have merged into a single company, they therefore almost certainly share infrastructure, which means that a breakdown for a brand is likely to affect the other.

This user is not happy …

Things are not exactly pink for AOL either, with answers to the company X account, noting that the breakdown is somewhat widespread in the United States and affecting different devices.

There is a little inconsistency in the way the failure seems to affect Yahoo Mail users, some saying that they can connect to their email but receive no message, while others note that they cannot be dusted their emails, the error messages being launched.

Likewise, and a bit like me, some people have expressed their ironic perplexity that people always use the Yahoo email …

As you might expect, there is not a lot of friendly feeling for Yahoo on X, with a user noting: “Yahoo Email is so unreliable. It’s time to find something better, and that shouldn’t be too difficult.”

The same could be said for Yahoo Mail in the United Kingdom, although it seems to me that on the DowndeTector page, problems of problems could be reduced.

In the United Kingdom, there was an increase in AOL breakdown reports, which again concerns emails, but the breakdown seems much smaller; This could be due to fewer British users than in the United States.

It seems to me that this breakdown takes place for AOL from 10 a.m. HE.

And there have been growing reports on Downdector, which indicates that this question becomes widespread in the United States.

Looking at the DowndeTector report for AOL, it seems to specifically affect the e-mail side of its services.

“I am in alabama. I can connect and he displays I have an email, but the messages say that there was an error that recovered the elements from the list. I used MS Outlook and I get a synchronization error on my AOL account. It is afraid! I sell real estate and this is one of the worst things that could happen !!!” said a user on Donwdetector.

It seems that it is a day for breakdowns as in the United Kingdom, the EE network supplier also suffers from a breakdown, which also seems to be in progress.

Yahoo has essentially said the same thing as AOL on X: “We understand that some users are currently experiencing difficulties in accessing their accounts. We actively investigate this problem and provide updates as soon as more information is available. We appreciate your patience and we apologize for any disadvantage that it could cause.”

AOL went to X to publish that he encountered breakdown problems with the computer messaging service.
