Apex Court takes Imran’s pleads today

The Supreme Court postponed until Wednesday (today) the hearing of the deposit petitions filed by the former Prime Minister Imran Khan in eight different cases of May 9.

When Imran’s lawyer Salman Safdar came to La Rostrum on Tuesday on Tuesday, the Pakistan judge (CJP) Yahya Afridi, who heads the bench of three members hearing the case, noted that the two parties had submitted documents that the bench was to examine.

SAFDAR said he also wanted to submit verdicts issued by various anti -terrorist courts in May 9 affairs. CJP Afridi said that the party wanted to submit documents should do so quickly, because the documents were necessary.

The accusation was also responsible for examining the documents submitted by the accused. The court then postponed the hearing until 10:30 am today.

A division bench of the High Court of Lahore (LHC) led by judge Shahbaz Ali Rizvi on June 24 rejected the requests for release under bond of Imran Khan in eight different cases of May 9.

In his order, the LHC declared that the former Prime Minister was involved in the emergence of a conspiracy to attack the military installations in the event of possible arrest, because two police officials had testified for this purpose.

The founder of the PTI challenged the ordinance of the Supreme Court, whose bench of three members led by the CJP Afridi including judge Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui and judge Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb took the issue on July 29.
