Apple could be about to launch a dedicated center for the game on the Mac, the iPhone and the iPad

  • Apple could push further into the game with a dedicated hub on the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV 4K
  • It will be a showcase for new titles available directly for platforms and via Apple Arcade.
  • It is announced at WWDC 2025, just after the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2

Between Apple Arcade on the iPhone and iPad, as well as the resurgence of the game support on the Mac since the beginnings of Apple Silicon, the Cupertino -based technology giant is impatient to stimulate game growth on its different platforms. The adage you can play on the Mac extended to almost all of its other platforms apart from the Apple Watch.

Now, a new Bloomberg Mark Gurman report indicates that a dedicated application for video games will soon be announced for the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple 4K streaming box.

The tightening report that it will arrive later in 2025 and that it will serve as a one-stop shop for games on these devices, providing easy access to the games themselves as well as “achievements in the game, classifications, communications and other activities”.

The hub will serve as a house for Apple Arcade titles, the $ 6.99 per month service of Apple offering a variety of mainly family games. These titles will reside in this new application alongside the editorial content, probably from the same team that supports the App Store, and it will replace Game Center.
