- Apple Watch Hermès users have been warned not to update their devices
- More specifically, the beta 2 update of Watchos 26 causes “continuous” accidents

Apple Watch Hermès is one of the best Apple watches, but if you have one, you will certainly want to avoid installing the Watchos 26 Beta 2 upgrade for the moment.
It is because Apple warned users that the update causes a plan of the aircraft several times – and at the moment, there does not seem to be a corrective in sight.
The instruction was issued in the Version notes of Apple Watchos 26 Beta 2. There, Apple included the following warning advice: “Apple Watch Hermès is continuously blocking in the event of update to Watchos 26 Beta 2. It is advisable that these users do not update themselves to BETA 2.”
It is a brutal reminder that you should not install beta software, unless you absolutely need it, because it is often delivered with serious bugs that can negatively affect your devices.
It should be noted that the other versions of the Apple Watch do not seem to be affected, neither the Apple Watch Series 10 nor the Apple Watch Ultra 2 mentioned in the notes.
In case you did not know, the Apple Watch Hermès is a special edition made with its own groups and its watch faces. Although Apple has not disclosed the cause of the problem, it is likely that it is caused by the interaction of Watchos 26 Beta 2 with some of these exclusive features.
The crash loop does not seem to be the only problem affecting Apple Watch Hermès users running the latest Apple software beta. Appleinsider reports that users have experienced overheating and inability to load the watch, while users whose iPhones also run the iOS 26 beta 2 update has apparently not been able to open the Watch application on their phones.
Be careful with beta
The illustrious bug why it is always advisable to avoid installing beta software – whether for your Apple Watch, iPhone, Mac or something else – unless you really like it. If you have to move forward, you need to install the updates on non-critical devices, as there is a risk that a problem like this can make your device inoperable.
This is the first major bug that we have seen in Watchos 26 so far. Although Beta Software always has the possibility of unforeseen planting and problematic behavior, Watchos 26 seemed to be quite stable since its publication to developers after the World Conference of Apple Developers (WWDC) earlier in June.
