- Apple has published its iOS 18.4 software update, which includes 8 new emojis
- The new emojis come at the same time as the ambient music function of iOS 18.4 and the tool of new photos
- Since its release, users have brought new additions well, in particular the new Smiley de Apple emoji
It has been a week since Apple published its latest iOS 18.4 update, and despite its rather rocky deployment of Apple Intelligence, the new software update adopts certain redemption features – one of them being the addition of eight new emojis.
The Apple Emojis Library is long to say the least, offering small visual elements on which iPhone users, including myself, count to give life to a text message or a group cat.
Although society has only introduced eight news, each is unique, and there is one in particular which is far too relatable. It is easily the best in the group.
Yes, new emojis are the most basic functionality iOS 18.4 introduced – it also brings a new photo tool and a function of ambient music – but that does not mean that we are not allowed to be excited about them.
I really looked at the eight new additions to the Apple Emojis range and I already know which I will use the most, and the ones I could do – here is my verdict.
8.
Is it a turnip? Is it a radish? I don’t know. But what I know is that it is the emoji that I will use the least. There is already enough food emojis, so what impact does it have?
7.

I quite often use the emojis of the nature of Apple, especially when you subtitled a photo with a picturesque natural landscape or an original plant. The new naked tree emoji looks a little sad, however.
The only case I might use this is during the fall or even Halloween, but this is not the one I can’t wait to use now.
6. SPADE / shovel

Let’s call a cat. This one is on the most boring side of the IOS 18.4 emojis of Apple. If you have a particular attachment to spikes or shovels, you may find yourself visiting this emoji again and again. For me, not so much.
5. Sark flag

Like most flag emojis, you would only use them in very specific contexts or if you express national pride (I constantly use the Welsh flag). That apart, it is a fairly neat flag, and it’s nice to see Apple bring more national flags to its library.
4.

According to its design, the emoji for purple splashes are another that I would have thought of being always part of the Emoji gallery. But alas, it’s brilliant and new.
It is another that looks good, but the only thing that drops it is the lack of different color options, which would prevent me from using it more.
Maybe the next iOS update will resolve this?
3. Digital imprint

The fingerprint emoji is just cool to look at. Is it as exciting as the new emoji smiley? I wouldn’t say it, but in terms of design, it always has a punch and is a solid addition to the Emoji library.
2. Harp

It is strange that a harp emoji is one of the new additions to iOS 18.4 because I would have supposed it was still there. This shows how often I use musical instruments emojis.
Although it is a very specific emoji, it is very summer. With all the summer photo discharges that I have planned for the next few months, I could certainly see myself using it in an Instagram legend somewhere.
1. Undereye Face bags

Okay, so Apple has a sense of humor after all. The new face of emoji with Underreye bags won by a landslide, not because it is particularly inventive or creative, but because it is the most relatable.
Since the publication of iOS 18.4, this emoji has received a lot of praise from Apple users for the above reason. This shows that relative is everything about emojis, and there is no doubt that it will be a success with users.
