- Tim Cook spoke all hands during a meeting
- Apple cook has a brilliant future AI
- There are “incredible” products in the pipeline
Delays and problems concerning Apple Intelligence have been well documented, but Apple CEO, Tim Cook, said that his company does not give up an AI – and in fact said that the AI market was “to be seized” during a recent hand meeting.
According to Mark Gurman, generally reliable by Bloomberg, the one hour meeting took place just after Apple’s call for results, and Tim Cook and the senior vice-president of Craig Federighi software engineering was apparently optimistic about the future of Apple AI.
“Apple must do so,” said Cook on AI. “Apple will do this. It is sort of ours to grasp.” The CEO would have continued by saying that even if Apple was not always the first in the product categories, it is generally capable of catching up and overcoming its rivals.
According to Gurman, Cook also encouraged Apple employees to use more AI in their daily work, to avoid being “left” on the ground. The CEO provides that AI will be greater than smartphones, applications and Internet.
‘A much larger upgrade’
As for Federighi, he would have told staff that Apple overcomes the first challenges he had faced with the addition of Apple intelligence above Siri. Rather than merge two systems, engineers are now working on the construction of an entirely new architecture.
“The work we have done on this Siri overhaul overhaul has given us the results we needed,” said the executive. “It put us in position not only to deliver what we have announced, but also to provide a much greater upgrade that we have considered.”
Apple has clearly precipitated its AI efforts to try to catch up with people like Openai and Google – having to draw promising advertisements that have not yet materialized – but it seems that Apple remains fully attached to technology.
The meeting all hands would have covered other subjects, including Apple TV +, AirPods and the impact of regulations. Cook also mentioned that there is an “incredible” series of Apple products in the pipeline – which can include a folding iPhone.
