Leave it to Apple to surprise or at least turn the tables of the rumor factory. Yes, we have obtained a new iPhone plus affordable, but it is not an iPhone SE 4. Instead, Apple unveiled the iPhone 16th, expanding the iPhone 16 range with a budget phone of $ 599 / £ 599 / $ 999 to a budgetary phone ready for Apple intelligence.
With the A18 processor, the same 3 nanometers processor found in the rest of the iPhone 16 range, a large part of the 6.1 -inch iPhone 16th is at a stage of the iPhone 16 basic model.
It has only one 48MP camera which draws at 24 MP per default (and up to 4K 60FPS video).

The iPhone 16th includes the action button, but with the additional wrinkle of being able to program it to execute visual intelligence. It is a notable update because it also means that the camera control button in the rest of the iPhone 16 range does not take place at the iPhone 16th.

However, there is a significant and notable technological update buried inside the new handset: Apple’s C1 chip, its first local cellular modem.
We do not know much about this chip, but Apple claims a certain effectiveness of the battery as a result of it. Apple claims 26 hours of video playback on a single load. If this resumes in our reports, it would be a huge business for this smartphone class.
Although the iPhone 16th is not a real update of the iPhone SE range, it brings welcome features to the most affordable Smartphone in Apple.
The iPhone 16th offers a USB-C port for the load, but also supports wireless load. He performs an A18 chip which supports Apple Intelligence and all the features currently supported in iOS 18, including Genmojis, assistance writing and transcription of calls. It even includes support for satellite communications and starts with 128 GB of storage but can be configured up to 512 GB.
The pre -orders of the iPhone 16th begin on Friday, February 21 and the phone begins to ship on February 28. It is available in matt black or white white.
