The next Apple WWDC Keynote is official, Apple CEO, Tim Cook, should go on stage at Apple Park at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. and / 6 p.m. on June 9, 2025.
Invite to the event, which will cover all the main Apple platforms and can include some surprises, will be released on May 20 (yes, the opening day of E / S Google 🤦️). Techradar has received invitations and we will cover it from the ground.
What, however, should you expect from one of the biggest Apple events of the year? Although product launches are unusual and unexpected, but not unknown, during the event, it is the opening speech that sets the tone for Apple’s entire year. In particular, by showing us what the next version of iOS will look like, it prepares the way to the exit from the iPhone 17 range, which expects most in September.
WWDC 2025 will also mark the first anniversary of Apple Intelligence’s introduction. Since Apple only managed to deliver part of what was promised in June 2024, it is not clear how Apple will approach this enigma of AI.
There are many switching reports behind the scenes while Apple reshapes its Apple intelligence team and tries to relaunch efforts to deliver a transformed SIRI which can compete with Gemini and Chatgpt.
Some believe that Apple will not mention Siri, but will focus on Apple’s intelligence as is and will mention certain improvements in functionalities. It is unlikely that they will promise all the revealing generative characteristics, especially after too promising a year ago.
Take a look at what we TO DO Expect that Tim Cook and the company reveal.
iOS 19
Even if Apple might not get involved at WWDC 2025 to a brand new Siri, we could have a clue on what happens. After all, how can Apple provide iOS 19 without an experience of fresh Siri filled with Apple Intelligence?
Expect that Apple guides us through a long list of iOS 19 design modifications, including a new camera application and more powerful and fresh widgets.
The biggest revelation could be a new home screen that aligns a little more about the appearance of pro vision. Why would Apple use its mixed reality headset platform as a basic look is an enigma to be resolved on June 9.
There may be many communication updates, such RCS emipper from start to finish and the ability to synchronize Wi-Fi public inscriptions on devices.
iPados 19
It will be fascinating to hear how Apple Exercise explains what we assume to be a deeper fusion between the functionality of iPados and MacOS in iPados 19.
Apple could do it because a request for a long time ago to match the iPad Macs in office capacity. Yes, we know it is a tablet, but many now use iPads with a physical keyboard and treat them like light laptops. However, the inability to take care of more than, say, four windows open at the same time and the personalization of the interface that corresponds to a Mac is frustration.
The messaging here, however, will be critical. Apple must inspire new converted iPads while satisfying and not frightening iPad pillars that have used the tablet since its creation in 2010.
MacOS 16
Most expect the Apple software to decrease that Craig Federighi unveils a major macos overhaul, which, like iOS 19, should borrow from the vision pro interface. Although the interface based on the gaze and gestures of the helmet is well considered, it is difficult to understand exactly how it will work on Mac. Admittedly, Federighi will have exciting demos to share.
It is believed that it could be the moment when Apple finally reveals a macOS adapted to the key. After all, we expect Apple to push iPados and macOS closer to each other (see above).
Other areas of interest in the macOS 16 part of the opening speech would be better Wi-Fi management, new battery controls, the integration of Google Gemini and, of course, the revelation of the very important name. We are currently on “Sequoia”.
Watchos 12
This could be an exciting moment for Apple Watch fans with Watchos 12, perhaps supporting blood pressure measurement and a new AI health coach (not everything that will be an “Apple Intelligence Health Coach” or simply “AI Health Coach”).
The editor and the editor in shape, Matt Evans, has added a certain color, “blood pressure via LED remains the holy grail of watches, but the Whoop MG goes around this using a bras to measure the BP as a basis, then estimates fluctuations based on other vital signs such as heart health.”
Evans also noted that Apple Intelligence for the control of the basic functions could arrive at Apple Watch. Again, it is unlikely that it is a major update of Apple’s intelligence functionality, but rather a wearing of what you can do in iOS, but with a portable flavor.
TVOS and AirPods
I interviewed Matt Bolton, our editor-in-chief, Entertainment, on what could be announced for the next version of Tvos, the platform operating in your Apple TV streaming box. He told me that we should expect an intelligence in tvos and airpods.
“In TVOS, you can probably ask for movies and show more organically, even if you do not know the name – or ask for recommendations depending on what you like. It’s really common in other intelligent tot -tote streaming devices.”
On Airpods, Bolton expects a “live translation based on AI and generally a smarter Siri conversationist”, according to Apple Intelligence path to Siri.
This is what is most likely to happen. What Bolton is hoping is announced is “the Bluetooth support The audio and auracast integrated into iOS, with the matching AirPods support. This would allow better quality of better quality music and better accessibility.”
Another thing
Regarding an Apple Keynote, never excludes a surprise. In the past, we have had an overview of a new Mac Pro, new MacBooks and Pro Vision.
This year, the new Macs are a possibility, as is mixed reality and the headache, like a pro Lite vision and apple glasses, respectively.
There is also the slightest chance that Tim Cook can tease the first folding iPhone of Apple or even the iPhone 17 ultra-thin air.
Let’s face it, Apple needs a little dazzling this year to distract from what was a slightly a slightly waded journey of 12 months.
