- Apple has just dropped an application which consists in creating invitations to events
- It includes Apple Intelligence features such as Playground image and writing tools
- You can easily create a shared photo album with all guests
Apple has slowly but surely made improvements to its schedule application on platforms – iOS, iPados and MacOS – but if you hoped for an easier way to plan events in the ecosystem, your wish is granted.
In fact, it is in the form of a whole new application – nicknamed Apple invites – and it is event planning. It is designed to be a single window to create event invitation – perhaps even using the image of Apple Intelligence to create the image – from the definition of a description to the construction of ‘A list of guests and sending invitations.
The application itself will be to create, send and receive invitations. As partial or events, this will allow people invited to RSVP and see all the details of the event while the host can organize the experience on the backend.
ICloud + is a central part of this, because you need it to send invitations and create an event. However, integration for Apple invites that anyone can receive invitations. Therefore, why there is also a web interface for Apple invites and that means that people with an Android phone can join the party.
The advantages of Apple invitations are probably in the ecosystem. On the one hand, when you create an event in the iOS application, you will start with a name and a description. With one or the other of these fields, you can use “writing tools” to spice up your writing.
Then, since an event needs a photo or a graphic, you can choose a preset in three themes – Emoji, photographic or colors – take a photo with the camera, select one in your library or Jump directly in the image to make one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one With one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with one with an Apple Intelligence.
Perhaps the most practical, however, is that you can create an album shared via iCloud photos when you create the event. In this way, you can potentially solve the problem of sending all your guests and share photos after the event. This can solve a major point of pain, and could be very practical for a birthday party or graduation as well as a baby shower or a hanging event of slots.
In addition, if it is a costume party or has a big daring theme like the 80s – Disco Time, right? – You can also define the mood and share some photos before the deadline. However, really, the victory here could be afterwards
Similar to a shared photo library, you can also create an Apple Music reading list which is useful for defining the scene, but also the one that guests can use to add their favorites to DJ Mix for the night.
Like partial and others applications that facilitate the search for the place, Apple invites will automatically help customers get instructions once you have added a location. Based on time and location, it will also give an overview of the expected time.
Now, in terms of sending invitations, you can select the guests in your contacts or create a public invitation link. With the latter, anyone who obtains the link could RSVP, but you can activate an “Approit RSVP” setting to put the guest list manually. In this way, you don’t have celebration crashers … at least super organized.
If you invite someone without iPhone, the web experience is designed to be pretty up to the iPhone application. And this is the case if you have an Android device – you always have full access to collaborative aspects such as playlist and shared photos, assuming you have or create an Apple account.
How much does it cost?
The only requirement is to be an iCloud +subscriber, which starts $ 0.99 in the United States, £ 0.99 in the United Kingdom, or $ 1.49 in Australia. Apple invite is the latest addition to iCloud Plus, which also provides cloud storage (from 50 GB), a secure homekit video, a private relay and the possibility of hiding your icloud e-mail when creating other accounts .
Apple invites certain advantages, for example, event planning applications or other events. This probably seems a good option – the one we will have to test – for those of the Apple ecosystem who have friends with or without iPhone. The fact that you can always collaborate with the shared photo-library, even with an Android phone, is a good step for Apple and could encourage a possible iMessage sharing.
However, the fact that iCloud Plus is required shows that the services are always of the utmost importance for Apple. For my part, I am happy that it can facilitate the sharing of photos, which is a struggle.
Similar to services, Apple Intelligence is of crucial importance for the company, and invites seems to argue that two of the exceptional features can be useful here. The writing tools are presented as a way to spice up event descriptions, and Image Playground hopes that you will use a generative AI to create event images.
